Nothing Phone 1 Launched in India with Transparent Back Panel

The wait for Nothing Phone 1 is over. OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei’s new company Nothing has launched its first smartphone Nothing Phone 1. Nothing 1 Phone has been launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor and dual rear cameras. Both the rear cameras in Nothing Phone 1 are of 50 megapixels. The protection of Gorilla Glass has been given on both the front and back of the phone. The sale of the phone will be from Flipkart. Glyph interface has been given with the phone, which comes with LED strips. It has an OLED display.

Price of Phone

Nothing Phone 1 is priced at Rs 32,999 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, while 8GB RAM with 256GB storage costs Rs 35,999 and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage costs Rs 38,999. The Nothing Phone 1 will go on sale starting July 21 at 7 PM in Black and White color from Flipkart. Customers who pre-order in the first sale will get a discount of Rs 1,000. With HDFC Bank cards, there will be a discount of Rs 2,000.

Specifications of Phone

Android 12 will be available with Nothing 1 Phone. Apart from this, the phone has a 6.55-inch Full HD Plus OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. There is Gorilla Glass protection on the display and back panel. There is support for HDR10+ with the display and the brightness is 1200 nits. The phone has a Snapdragon 778G+ processor with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.

Phone Camera

Nothing Phone 1 has dual rear cameras, one lens is the 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with an aperture of /1.88 and it supports both OIS and EIS. The second lens is also a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor, which is an ultra-wide-angle. With this, EIS stabilization will be available. On the front, a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 camera has been given. Panorama Night Mode, Portrait Mode, and Expert Mode will be available with the camera.

Phone Battery

For connectivity, the phone has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6 Direct, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS, and Type-C port. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Nothing 1 Phone pack a 4500mAh battery with support for 33W wire charging and 15W wireless charging along with 5W reverse charging. The phone has got an IP53 rating. It will get Android updates for three years and security updates for four years.
