The name of this chatbot is Bard. It has currently been released for the feedback of some users. The company can release it to everyone in the coming weeks. What is Google Bard?
Bard is Google’s artificial intelligence chatbot. It will work exactly like ChatGPT, that is, users will be able to use the chatbot through conversation. The new chatbot is based on Google’s Language Model for Dialogue Application (Language Model for Dialogue Application or LaMDA). According to the company, it is a lite version of LaMDA.

Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai said in a blog post on Monday that the company is launching a conversational AI service called Bard to collect user feedback. After testing, it will have a public release in the coming weeks.

Google decided to bring this artificial intelligence tool when Microsoft has already developed advanced tools in collaboration with OpenAI in the market. According to reports, Google’s Artificial Intelligence Chief Jeff Dean had said that the company’s reputation could be at stake due to sharing of wrong information, so Google is delaying the rollout of the AI-based feature. Google has not shared much information about the Bard tool at the moment.
Bard will be Equipped with LaMBDA
The Google CEO said that the bard will receive information based on user feedback and inputs available on the web. The company is initially rolling out the AI system for testers with the lighter model version of the LaMDA. Work will be done to further improve its AI system in the future.

According to the blog post, the experimental conversational AI service Bard is powered by LaMDA (Language Model and Dialog Application). LaMDA is an AI chatbot from Google, which can think like humans. The company introduced it only two years back. Pichai said that the company’s new AI chatbot Bard’s capabilities said that it would be much better in the power, intelligence, and creativity of the company’s big language model.

The New York Department of Education has banned ChatGPT because school and college children were using this tool for assignments and homework.
