Sourav Ganguly Admitted to Hospital in Kolkata After 'Mild Cardiac Arrest', Condition Stable

Former India captain and current BCCI president Sourav Ganguly (48) suffered a mild heart attack on Saturday. He underwent angioplasty at Woodland Hospital in Kolkata. Now they are out of danger. As soon as the news was received, Rajaypal Jagdeep of West Bengal reached Dhankhar Hospital. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also reached there shortly. Ganguly had recently reached Raj Bhavan to meet the Governor. After this, there is speculation that he will join BJP.

According to the news agency, Ganguly suffered a mild heart attack on Saturday morning. After some time, the family took him to the hospital. Where he was admitted. Rupali Basu, MD and CEO of Woodland Hospital, said- Ganguly’s condition is stable. He has undergone primary angioplasty.

Ganguly went to his home ground Eden Gardens on Wednesday. Here he reviewed the preparations for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. During this time, President of Bengal Cricket Association Abhishek Dalmia was also with Dada. Last week he also went to meet West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar.
