Batting first after winning the toss in the match, RCB scored 138/7 and the target of 139 runs was achieved by KKR at the loss of 6 wickets in the last over.

KKR Innings, Team Reached the Second Qualifier

KKR’s first wicket fell as Shubman Gill and he was caught by Harshal Patel for 29 runs. Rahul Tripathi was dismissed for 6 by Chahal, giving another blow to KKR. RCB Innings, Top Batsman Failed

Devdutt Padikkal gave the team a good start with Virat Kohli and put on a 49-run partnership for the first wicket, but Ferguson broke the partnership by dismissing him for 21. S Bharat was caught by Sunil Narine for 9 runs. Captain Virat Kohli scored 39 runs off 33 balls and got bowled by Sunil Narine. AB de Villiers was also bowled by Sunil Narine for 11 runs.
