Kolkata Knight Riders scored a brilliant score of 194/6 with half-centuries from Nitish Rana (81 runs, 53 balls) and all-rounder Sunil Narine (64 runs, 32 balls) and a 115-run partnership for the fourth wicket between the two.

After falling two wickets on the score of 13, Rishabh Pant tried to handle the innings by Shreyas Iyer. After the partnership of 63 runs, the wicket of Rishabh Pant (27) fell. He was returned by leg-spinner Varun Chakraborty. The fourth and fifth wickets fell at a score of 95. Varun was bowled by Shimron Hetmeyer (10) and Shreyas Iyer (47) on consecutive balls. Nitish Rana gave a tribute to his late father-in-law by playing a knock. Rana beat all the Delhi bowlers fiercely and contributed significantly to KKR’s total score of 194 runs. Rana faced 81 off 53 balls which included 13 fours and 1 six. Due to this quick innings, KKR raised their total score to 194 runs.

Delhi Opener Out Early
Delhi started badly. Ajinkya Rahane dismissed for the first ball of Innings. He was dismissed by Pat Cummins on a personal score of 0. After this, Shikhar Dhawan could not do anything special and became the second victim of Cummins by scoring 6 runs.
Pant and Iyer Partnered 63 Runs
Iyer and Pant handled the innings after the early openers were dismissed. There was a 63-run partnership for the third wicket between the two. Varun Chakraborty broke this partnership that was dangerous. Varun got Pant caught by Shubman Gill on a personal score of 27 runs.
