In 2013 and 2019, the match was decided 2–2 times in the Super Over. The team batting 7 times out of 12 wins the match. At the same time, the team batting first could win the match only 5 times.

Warner First Foreign Player to Score 5000 Runs in IPL
Hyderabad captain Warner has completed his 5000 runs in the IPL. He has become the first foreigner and overall fourth player to do so. Before them, only 3 players Virat Kohli (5759), Suresh Raina (5368) and Rohit Sharma (5149) could touch the figure of 5 thousand.
