IPL Auction 2021: IPL Auction List 2021 The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released the players list for the 2021 season auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Thursday. A total of 292 players will be involved in the auction while eight teams need a total of 61 players.

Indian veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh. middle-order batsman Kedar Jadhav. Australian star player Steve Smith and explosive all-rounder Glenn Maxwell have been placed in the maximum base price of Rs 2 crore for the IPL auction. Apart from this, Arjun Tendulkar, son of India’s great batsman Sachin Tendulkar, has been included in the lowest base price of Rs 20 lakh category.
10 Players Base Price 2 Crores, Out of Which Only 2 Indians
There are 10 names in the shortlisted players. whose base price was kept at Rs 2 crore. These include Harbhajan Singh and Kedar Jadhav of India. Maxwell and Smith are also in this list. Apart from these, England’s Moin Ali, Sam Billings, Liam Plunkett, Jason Roy. and Mark Wood have also found a place in the list. One of the names in the list is Bangladesh’s all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan.
The players auction will be held on February 18 in Chennai. Eight teams of IPL have retained 139 players this time. while 57 players have been released from their teams. 164 Indians while 125 foreign players will be in the auction.

All franchisees have to choose their maximum quota. and for this a total of 61 players will be required. If each franchise has a maximum of 25 players in their squad, then 61 players will be put up for auction (22 of which can be foreign players). A total of 196.6 crores will be at stake. The Royal Challengers Bangalore team can purchase a maximum of 13 players during the auction.
