India Won Bronze Medal in Asia Cup Hockey. India beat Japan 1-0 in the third-place match on Wednesday. Rajkumar Pal scored the only goal of the match. In their last match of Super-4, the Indian team could not reach the final due to 4-4 draw against South Korea, in that match it was necessary for India to win. The final match will be played between South Korea and Malaysia.
Indian Team was Adorned with Young Players
Under the guidance of coach Sardar Singh, India had fielded a young team for this tournament, in which a total of ten players had no international match experience. But this team made a strong start by defeating Pakistan in their very first match itself.
