India Beat South Africa 2nd ODI: India’s women’s cricket team defeated South Africa by 5 wickets in the second ODI of the series played in Vadodara. In the match, India had a target of 248 runs to win, which they achieved in 48 overs. For India, captain Mithali Raj scored 66, Poonam Raut scored 65, and Harmanpreet Kaur scored an unbeaten 39. Along with winning this match, the Indian team also took an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

Batting first after losing the toss in the match, South Africa scored 247 runs at the loss of six wickets. Opener Laura Volwart scored 69 runs for the visiting team, while Lizelle Lee scored 40 and Mignon du Perez scored 44 runs. From India, three bowlers Shikha Pandey, Ekta Bisht and Poonam Yadav took two wickets each.
