BCCI Big Decision: The BCCI has postponed the team’s Sri Lanka tour in June-July due to coronavirus. Board Secretary Jai Shah said on Friday that the Indian team would not go to the Zimbabwe Round in August.

On the Sri Lanka tour starting on 24 June, Team India had to play 3 ODIs and T20 series of the same number of matches, while the Zimbabwe tour was to play 3 ODIs. The series between the two countries was to be held from 22 August.

Outdoor training will be done when conditions are safe: BCCI

The BCCI has also said about the training of Team India that outdoor training will start only when the conditions are completely safe. The board said that we are making every possible effort to restore international and domestic series but there will be no hurry for this. We do not want the country’s fight against Corona to be affected in any way.

Alternative window will be searched for India-Sri Lanka series

India has postponed the tour to Sri Lanka. Both boards are ready to play against each other according to the future tour program. An optional window will be searched for this. International cricket has been on break since 13 March. International cricket will return from a 3-match Test series starting between 8 July and England-West Indies.

Only after approval from the government, team India will go to Sri Lanka tour

According to media reports, the Indian cricket team could tour Sri Lanka in August if the government’s permission is granted. BCCI gave this information to Sri Lanka Cricket Board on e-mail.

In an e-mail, the Indian board wrote – We are bound by the FTP and the concerned board, but in the current situation before taking any decision on any kind of visit, we have to take care of the guidelines issued by the Government of India and the Ministry of Health.

Sri Lanka team visited India in January
