Vivo V17 Pro Review: Chinese smartphone company Vivo on Friday launched its latest smartphone Vivo V17 Pro in the Indian market. It is the first phone in the world to have two pop-up selfie cameras. The phone has a total of 6 cameras including front and rear. There is a quad rear camera setup on the back panel of the phone, which is equipped with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. Apart from this, it has 32 megapixels and two 8 megapixel cameras for selfies. The phone costs Rs 29,990. It will start pre-booking today (20 September), while its first sale will be on 27 September.
Specifications of Vivo V17 Pro
Talking about the specifications of Vivo V17 Pro, it will have a 6.59 inch FHD + Super AMOLED display. The phone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor for performance. With this, up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage can be given. Vivo V17 Pro will have a large 4100mAh battery and fast charging support. According to reports, the phone will be available for sale in India for the first time on September 28.
Design and Build Quality
The size of the phone is compact. Easy to hold. The pack panel is a fingerprint magnet, but it is not visible in the Glacier Ice variant. The rear panel of the phone is curved, due to which the grip is good. The phone seems a bit heavy, but its build quality is solid. Frame metal is used. There is a glass design on the rear panel and a camera module in the center where four cameras are given.
The speaker grill, USB Type C port and SIM tray are provided on the bottom of the phone. There is a headphone jack on the top and a pop-up selfie camera is located next to it. On the right side are the volume rocker keys and the power button. There is a button in the left side which you can use to activate Google Assistant.
Talking about the front, there is only display, all display design and bezels are very less. The bezels at the top and side are negligible, but the chin has been given. This phone is quite good in overall design and willed quality and looks like a premium smartphone.
Display
Seeing the display of Vivo V17 Pro, Vivo NEX first comes to my mind. Although there is no display like NEX, but it is still great. Since NEX was the most expensive phone of the company, it cannot be compared to that. This smartphone has a 6.44-inch SuperAMOLED FHD + display. Aspect ratio is 90: 9. Talking about the viewing angle, there is no problem in this also. The special thing is that the display of this smartphone is the best at low brightness. I have kept the brightness below 50% most of the time and the result has been very good. However, its display stings the eyes when it is 100% brightness.
