Eknath Shinde took oath as the 20th Chief Minister of Maharashtra on the 11th day of the political film. Devendra Fadnavis took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister with him. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated both.

As soon as Fadnavis spoke of staying out of the government, the central leadership of the BJP became active. Party President JP Nadda said that Fadnavis has shown a big heart. Now he should accept the post of Deputy CM. After this Amit Shah said that Fadnavis has agreed to join the government. After this, immediately three chairs were installed in the Raj Bhavan instead of two.
Modi Said – Fadnavis is an Inspiration for BJP Workers
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated the new government. He tweeted and wrote – Congratulations to Devendra Fadnavis ji on taking oath as the Deputy CM of Maharashtra. He is an inspiration to every BJP worker. His experience and expertise will be an asset to the government. I am sure he will further strengthen the growth path of Maharashtra.
Shah and Nadda Confirm Fadnavis Joining Government
After the announcement of the new Chief Minister of Maharashtra and the announcement of Fadnavis not joining the government, the party’s national president JP Nadda came in front of the media and called Fadnavis a leader with a big heart. He requested Fadnavis to join the new government and take over as the deputy CM. After this, Nadda said that it is also the direction of the central leadership that Devendra Fadnavis should take oath as the Deputy CM.
Here, after Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah has also confirmed Fadnavis’s joining the government. After this, Fadnavis also tweeted and wrote – As a worker, I follow the orders of the party. The order of the party which raised me to the highest position is of parzzamount importance to me.
Shinde Said – BJP has Shown a Big Heart
In the press conference, Eknath Shinde said- We have come together with Balasaheb’s agenda of Hindutva and development of the state. We were not able to do anything even when we were in the previous government. No one has any interest in this. Despite being a big party, BJP gave me a chance. Devendra ji showed a big heart. Thanks to Devendra ji for this. I am thankful to PM Narendra Modi ji, Home Minister Amit Shahji, BJP President JP Nadda.
