Murthal Sukhdev Dhaba: Murthal’s two famous dhabas at Sonipat in Haryana, adjacent to Delhi, have come under the grip of corona infection. 71 employees of Sukhdev Dhaba and 10 employees at Garam-Dharam Dhaba have been found to be Corona positive. Both these dhabas are sealed till further orders. A total of 81 employees have been infected at both dhabas. RT PCR test of all these employees was done.

According to the information received, 71 workers from outside working on Sukhdev Dhaba have been found corona infected. All have been quarantined in their homes with no symptoms. SDM Vijay Singh reached the spot on the notice of the case and gave necessary guidelines.
The operator of the dhaba said that as a precaution, the dhaba has been closed for two days and is being sanitized. Deputy Civil Surgeon and Rural Area Nodal Officer Dr. Geeta Dahiya said that samples of those working on Sukhdev Dhaba were examined. The dhaba staff has found Corona positive in it.
Strictness will be Increased on Dhabas: DC Shyam Lal
Giving information on the data for the last 24 hours, Sonepat DC Shyam Lal Punia said that 191 new cases were reported in the district in the last 24 hours, out of which 65 new cases came from the Corona Sukhdev Dhaba. Now 4,847 Corona positive patients have come to the fore in the district. He said that now strictness will be increased to ensure compliance of rules on dhabas.
DC Shyam Lal told that Murthal Sukhdev Dhaba will be sealed. It will be opened as per WHO guidelines. The dhaba will be completely sanitized. From time to time, dhaba owners were also instructed to take precaution. Now corona sampling of all dhabas will be done.
319 Employees Were Sampled
Corona infection continues to increase in the district. On Thursday too, there was an immediate corona explosion at Murthal’s famous Sukhdev Dhaba. 71 workers and workers who came to work in the dhaba were found corona infected. Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr. Dahiya said that on the instructions of the SDM, the work of collecting samples of the workers and workers working on the dhaba was going on. On 31 August, the director of Sukhdev Dhaba told him that he had just invited some workers from outside as well. He also requested for their sample. In this way, samples of about 319 employees were taken at the dhaba. Of these, 71 reported positive. The information has been given to the operator of Dhaba.
Dhaba Operator Told That the Employees Came From Bihar
Meanwhile, Dhaba operator Amrik Singh said that he had called about 100 workers from Bihar four days ago by bus. These workers used to work with them earlier and went to their house during lockdown. All were staying in the quarters adjoining the dhaba. He requested the Health Department to conduct corona examination of all. All samples were taken on this. Of these, 71 people have been found to be corona infected.
However, there is no symptom in them. He said that positive visitors had not started work on the dhaba yet. However, as soon as the information has been received, he has closed the dhaba for two days and started sanitizing it as a precaution since Thursday afternoon.
