Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the message to the nation. The Prime Minister made it clear in a 33-minute speech that Lockdown 4 would come into force from 18 May. He said that it will be with new look and new rules. Modi said that Corona is an unprecedented crisis and self-sufficient India is the only way to overcome it. He said that we have to avoid the Corona crisis and also move forward.
The Prime Minister said that a special economic package of 20 lakh crore rupees will be given to speed up the economic activities of the country. This was Modi’s fifth message in 54 days of lockdown. Earlier on Monday, Modi held talks with the Chief Ministers for about 6 hours.
