Krishna Janmashtami: The preparations for Shri Krishna Janmotsav have been completed in all the temples of Braj. On the occasion of Janmashtami on Monday, not only in Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, Kanha’s birth will be celebrated with pomp in all major villages including Gokul, Vrindavan, Baldev, Mahavan, Badgram, Barsana, Rawal. .
On Janmashtami, at different times in all the temples of Braj, the milk ceremony with milk from cows of Gaushala and Mahabhishek with milk, curd, boora, honey and ghee, as well as the first aarti of the morning i.e. Mangala Aarti will be seen. During this, devotees will be able to see all the programs of Lord Krishna’s birth online as well as visiting the temples. On Monday night at the birthplace of Shri Krishna, the program will start with Shehnai and Nagade. After this, there will be a program of Abhishek and Pushpanjali in Bhagwat Bhavan from 10 am. In Dwarkadhish temple of Mathura, on the day of Janmashtami, after Mangala Aarti, Panchamrit Abhishek will be held at 6.30 am and adornment will be performed at 8.30 am.
