Rajeev Kapoor, the younger brother of Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor, died on Tuesday. He was 58 years old. According to reports, Rajiv had a heart attack, soon after which his elder brother Randhir Kapoor took him to Inlax Hospital in Chembur, but the doctors declared him dead.

Randhir Kapoor told a news website, ‘I have lost my younger brother Rajiv. The doctors tried their best to save them, but they could not escape. I am in the hospital and waiting for his body. At the same time, actress Neetu Kapoor also shared a tribute by sharing Rajiv’s photo on social media.
Rajiv Got Recognition From the Film Ram Teri Ganga Maili
Rajiv Kapoor made his debut with the film Ek Jaan Hain Hum released in 1983, but he got recognition from the film Ram Teri Ganga Maili released in 1985. Rajeev Nag was also seen as an actor in films like Nagin and Angare. Apart from this, he produced Akshay Khanna and Aishwarya Rai starrer Aa Ab Laut Chalen. Rishi Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit were Rajiv directors in the starrer Prem Granth, released in 1986.
Rishi Kapoor Died 7 Months Ago
Rajiv’s middle brother Rishi Kapoor died 7 months ago. Rishi breathed his last at HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai at the age of 67 on 30 April 2020 after fighting cancer for two years.
