CBSE Result: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the 10th and 12th results. 92.71% of students passed in 12th examination, while 94% of students passed the 10th. The results can be seen on the official website of the board, results.CBSE.nic.in. Apart from this, the results have also been released on results.gov.in, but the website has crashed due to traffic.

Girls Outperformed Boys in Both the Exams

In class 12, the result for girls was 3.29% higher than that of boys. At the same time, girls remained ahead by 1.41% in the 10th result.

Tanya Singh of UP Got full Marks in 12th

Tanya Singh, a resident of Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, has secured 500 out of 500 marks in her class 12th examination. She is a student of Delhi Public School, Bulandshahr. After the results are out, there is a festive atmosphere in Tanya’s house and school.

Tanya Singh wants to give credit for this success to her parents and school teacher. She wants to become an IAS officer and will take history honors in graduation. He said that his parents and teachers are very happy with his achievement.

12th Result Highlights

  • The result of girls was 3.29% higher than that of boys.
  • 33 thousand students secured more than 95% marks.
  • 1.32 lakh students secured more than 90% marks.
  • Trivandrum’s result was the best. Here 98.83% of students passed.
  • The result of Prayagraj was the worst. Here 83.71% of students passed.
  • Term 1 exam is given 30% weightage and Term 2 is given 70% weightage.
  • More than 33 thousand students have scored more than 95%, and 1.34 lakh have scored more than 90%.

35 lakh Students Gave 10th and 12th Exams

Around 35 lakh students have appeared for the 10th and 12th term-2 exams. This includes 21 lakh 16 thousand 290 students of 10th and 14 lakh 54 thousand 370 students of 12th. The exam was conducted from 26 April 2022 to 15 June 2022 at thousands of centers at various locations across the country. Passing Marks in CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams is 33%. It is necessary to secure at least 33% marks in both the subjects which have both practical and theory.
