Ratan Tata Birthday: The country’s veteran industrialist Ratan Tata turned 83 on Monday. Tata, who participated heavily in business as well as social work, took the Tata group to a new level with his intelligence, hard work, business acumen and vision. Ratan Tata was the chairman of Tata Sons, from Nano to Software, from 1990 to 2012, which provided the dream car to the lower-middle-class people of the country through Nano. Ratan Tata was born on December 28, 1937, in Surat, Gujarat. Ratan Tata’s father’s name was Naval Tata and mother’s name was Suni Tata. Tata graduated in architecture from Cornell in 1962.
