Yamaha Motor India has launched the new Moto GP Edition of the Yamaha FZ25. The company has launched it by Motor India under its ‘The Call of the Blue’ campaign. Its ex-showroom price has been fixed at Rs 1,36,800. The company has said that the new edition of this quarter-litre naked roadster bike will be made available in limited numbers only. However, the company has not given information about the units.

- The Moto GP variant will see many cosmetic changes. The new FZ25 Monster Energy Moto GP Edition will be available in India by the end of July 2021. The Yamaha FZ25 special edition features the Yamaha MotoGP branding on the tank shroud, fuel tank and side panels.
- The company has installed monster energy decals on the tank and side panels of the bike, which makes its look quite attractive. The new bike includes a multi-function navigation LCD instrument cluster, Class-D bi-functional LED headlight, LED daytime running lamps.
- The bike gets a 249cc air-cooled, SOHC, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine. This engine generates maximum power of 20.8 PS at 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 20.1 Nm at 6000 rpm.
- The bike weighs 153 kg and has a minimum ground clearance of 160 mm. The fuel tank capacity of this bike is 14 liters. In terms of safety, the bike gets dual-channel ABS with sidestand engine cut-off switch.
