Hyundai Tucson
The first car to be launched in August will be Hyundai’s Tucson SUV. The new generation model of this car was unveiled on July 13 and its long-wheelbase model will be launched for the first time in India. It will get 2.0-liter petrol and diesel engine options along with an all-wheel drive system option. Bookings for the new Hyundai Tucson SUV have started.
Mahindra Launch 5 Electric SUV on 15 August
Mahindra has released the teaser of its electric SUV cars. In this trailer, the company has given a glimpse of their side profile, out of which 4 models look like coupe SUVs. One of these could be the electric version of the Mahindra XUV700. All SUVs are SUVs. These EVs are being built on the new Born Electric platform. All of them will have their world premiere on August 15. That is, finally, the way for Mahindra’s electric cars is about to open.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder
Toyota’s latest car is a hybrid SUV developed in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki. The new Urban Cruiser High Rider Hybrid SUV will be launched on August 16. It will be offered with mild hybrid and strong hybrid powertrain options, with the option of an all-wheel drive system with a mild hybrid powertrain. In the mid-size SUV segment, it will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Tigoon, and Skoda Kushak. Maruti’s Grand Vitara SUV based on this car will be launched in September.
New Maruti Alto 800
On August 18, Maruti will launch the new generation model of its popular hatchback Alto. A new powertrain will be given in this car built on the new platform. Like other Maruti Suzuki models like the S Presso, Celerio, Wagon R, and XL6, it will also be based on the Heartect platform. In some of the pictures that surfaced, its design looks like Celerio. It will be given a 796CC petrol engine as before, which will generate power of 48Bhp and torque of 69Nm. Apart from this, the option of a K10c 1.0-liter engine can also be given in it.
Mercedes AMG EQS 53
Mercedes-Benz’s first electric car, the EQS 53 4Matic+, will be launched at the end of August. After this, the company will launch the EQS 580. The company’s upcoming electric car will generate 751Bhp of power with the Dynamic Plus package. It will have a single charge range of 320 kms and 360 kms. It will compete with the Porsche Tekken and Audi RS e-tron GT.
