Ultraviolette F77 Electric Bike Launched: Electric vehicle manufacturer Ultraviolette on Thursday launched its electric motorcycle F77 in the Indian market at an initial price of Rs 3.8 lakh. Ultraviolette has introduced the F77 as a high-performance electric motorcycle. The company has received over 77,000 bookings for the motorcycle globally.
Bike Range and Speed
The Ultraviolette F77 Electric Bike gets a 10.3kWh lithium-ion battery pack that generates 38.9 bhp and 95 Nm of torque. This bike claims to give a range of up to 307 km. Its top speed is 147 kmph and it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 8 seconds.
Variants and Riding Modes
Ultraviolette has introduced the F77 in three variants – Airstrike, Shadow and Laser. It has three riding modes – Glide, Combat and Ballistic. This Made in India, Made for the World product comes with Global Certification. The F77 was developed in India at Ultraviolette’s research and development facility in Bengaluru.
When will the Delivery Start
The motorcycle was supposed to be launched in India a few years ago but got delayed due to the onset of the pandemic. The company will start deliveries of the F77 from Bengaluru in a phased manner from January 2023 and thereafter pan-India deliveries. The company will also open its first experience center in Bengaluru.
Limited Edition
Interestingly, Ultraviolette has announced that they are also offering a limited edition of the F77. This limited edition is a tribute to its futuristic vision. The company will produce only 77 units of the limited edition F77. The limited edition Ultraviolette F77 generates 40.5 bhp and 100 Nm of torque and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 7.8 seconds and has a top speed of 158 kmph. This limited edition F77 will be offered in a single color scheme of Meteor Gray with Afterburner Yellow.
Bike Features
The Ultraviolette F77 is equipped with features such as preventive maintenance, ride analytics, service, anti-theft and real-time data interpretation through the display and an app. Ultraviolette is offering its customers a very comprehensive warranty package with a maximum of 1,00,000 kms or 8 years.
How Much is the Price
Ultraviolette F77 has been introduced in three versions i.e. F77, F77 Recon, and F77 Limited. Their ex-showroom price is:
- Ultraviolette F77 – Rs 3,80,000
- Ultraviolette F77 Recon – Rs 4,55,000
- Ultraviolette F77 Limited – Rs 5,50,000
