Tata Safari 2021: First Look of New Safari Released

An old player is going to enter the new avatar in the SUV segment in the Indian market. Recently, the country’s largest automobile manufacturer Tata Motors announced the launch of its upcoming SUV Tata Safari. Production of this SUV has now started at the company’s plant in Pune. Meanwhile, the company has rolled out its first unit from the plant.

Actually, the new Tata Safari is the Gravitas introduced by the company at the past Auto Expo, the company has given it a new name. This new SUV is built on the famous Impact 2.0 design language. The company has given a new design grille with stepped roof and attractive tailgates that give it an ultra premium look.

The new 2021 Safari uses Tata’s award-winning Impact 2.0 design language. The new Safari SUV was previously codenamed Gravitas (Gravitas) and was showcased at the Auto-Expo held last year. The 2021 Tata Safari SUV may be the most expensive SUV of Tata Motors. The Tata Harrier is the company’s most expensive SUV at the moment. The top variants of the Tata Harrier are priced at over Rs 20 lakh. In the Indian market, it will compete with cars like the 7-seater MG Hector Plus and Mahindra’s upcoming SUV Mahindra XUV500 2021.

Know Engine Power

The new Tata Safari will be approximately 63mm longer and 80mm higher in length than the Harrier. Apart from this, the company can launch this SUV in the market with new colors as well as new wheel design to differentiate it from the Harrier. In this SUV, the company can use a 2.0-liter capacity Kryotec turbo diesel engine, which generates power of 170hp. It will have a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The company may also launch it in the future with a four wheel drive system.

Know Interior 

The company has tried its best to make the interior of the new Safari a premium. It is decorated on the theme Oyster White, with an Ashwood dashboard. It is specially designed for adventure and fun loving customers. Although information about other technical features of its interior has not been shared yet, it is believed that it will be very similar to the current Tata Harrier.

Tata Safari is coming back again after almost two decades, the company first launched it in 1998. Now the company will once again try to capitalize on this name. It is believed that the company will use advanced features and technology in this SUV. Know When will Launch

However, no information has been shared by the company about the launch date of this SUV. But it is believed that it can be launched for sale by the end of this month or in February. Its official booking will also be started very soon. However some media reports have claimed that unauthorized bookings are being taken by some dealerships.
