Tata Harrier Facelift

Tata Motors a leading automaker among the top 3 car manufacturers Company in the country, has recently launched the new Tiago EV, which is also the country’s most affordable electric car. The company is also working on several new EVs along with updated versions of its existing range. Here we are telling you about Tata’s top 5 new cars and SUVs to be launched in the country in 2023.

Tata Harrier Facelift

Tata Motors is preparing to give a mid-life facelift to its popular mid-size SUV Harrier. Actually, the testing of the new model has already started. The new model will see significant design changes along with an upgraded cabin. It will come with advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technology like Automatic Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Collision Warning, Blind Spot Detection, and Lane Assist along with many features. The SUV will be offered with the same 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine with manual and automatic gearboxes.

Tata Safari Facelift

Tata Motors is also preparing to give a major upgrade to its 7-seater Safari SUV. Changes like the new Harrier will be seen in the new model. It will come with connected car technology with smartphone connectivity and a large touchscreen infotainment system. The SUV will also get ADAS technology as it directly competes with the Mahindra XUV700 which comes with these advanced technology features. It will also get the existing 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine that generates 173 bhp power and 350 Nm torque.

Tata Altroz ​​EV

Tata Motors showcased the Altroz ​​EV at the 2020 Auto Expo. The company has now started testing the electric hatchback. It is expected to be launched early next year. Except for the changes related to the EV, the new model will look very similar to the current model. It will get new styling bumpers, a closed-off grille, an air dam with a star pattern, new alloys with blue highlights, and a blacked-out section of the tailgate. It is expected to come with light upholstery and a rotary gear selector. The new model is likely to come with Ziptron electric technology which is also found in the Tata Nexon EV long-range version.

Tata Punch EV

Tata Motors will also launch a punch-based electric sub-compact SUV in the year 2023. The new model will use the Ziptron EV powertrain technology that powers the Nexon EV. It is likely to pack a 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery that generates a power of 129 bhp. The electric motor will be mounted on the front axle. The new model is likely to offer a range of more than 300 km.

Tata Nexon CNG

Tata Motors is also testing the CNG versions of the Altroz ​​(Altroz) and Nexon (Nexon). Both models are expected to be launched in 2023. The Nexon CNG is likely to come with a factory-fitted CNG kit with a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine. This engine can generate a power of about 100 bhp.
