Better Connectivity will be Available Everywhere in the Country
MG Motor India sells models like Hector, Hector Plus, Gloster and ZS Electric SUV in the Indian market. Now the company will use Jio’s Internet of Things (IoT) seamless integration technology for its upcoming models. The company claims that customers of MG’s mid-size SUV will benefit from Jio’s improved internet outreach along with high-quality connectivity not only in metros but also in smaller towns and rural areas.
India’s First Connected SUV Hector
At present, connected technology is being used well in new vehicles in the Indian market. As far as MG is concerned, the company introduced its SUV Hector as the first internet car in the Indian market. This connected vehicle solution from Jio is a combination of hardware, software and connectivity, which enables users to access trending infotainment and real-time telematics to vehicles and people on the go. MG Motor had included some special features in its vehicles in the Indian market, which were seen for the first time. For example, internet/connected cars, autonomous level one ADAS technology, etc. The company launched its premium SUV Gloster in the market by equipping it with Level-1 autonomous features.
