Mercedes-Benz India on Wednesday launched the AMG EQS 53 Performance Electric Vehicle (EV). Its ex-showroom price is Rs 2.45 crore. With this price, it has become India’s most expensive and wide-ranging EV. It will get a range of 529 – 586 km on a single charge. The car has a top speed of 250 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds.

It was introduced in the global market last year. This is now Mercedes’ second all-electric offering in India after the EQC, while the EQS 580 will be launched in the Indian market later this year via the CKD (completely knocked down) route. The EQS is the flagship S-Class sedan-based car.

Battery, Range, and Speed

The Mercedes AMG EQS 53 is powered by a 107.8kWh lithium-ion battery and supports fast charge options up to 200 kWh. The AMG EQS 53 has a WLTP range of up to 580 kms under ideal conditions. In terms of performance, the AMG EQS 53 lives up to the brand’s heritage. This car generates 762 hp power and 1,020 Nm maximum torque. The Mercedes-Benz AMG EQS 53 car has a top speed of 250 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds.

Look and Design

The front bonnet overlaps the wings, vertical struts on the AMG-specific black panel grille, and front splitter in high gloss black with gloss trim. Also get a digital LED headlight and 21-inch alloy wheels with low rolling resistance.

Its doors come with a flush feature. Which comes out when the handle is touched. Features like flush tailgate with LED lamps in 3D helix design, a star badge on the tailgate add to its beauty.

The Mercedes EQS AMG 53 4Matic+ car will be brought to India via the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route. Customers will get a service warranty of 2 years / 30,000 kms and a battery warranty of 10 years / 2,50,000 kms. According to TOI, the latest car is the highest-range EV in India. According to the company’s claim, this car can run up to 529-586 km on a single charge.

Exterior and EQS 580 Launched

In the latest Mercedes car, LED lighting has been provided with DRL from one end to the other. Being an electric car, its grille has been given a sporty design. At the same time, excellent lighting has been given at the back of the car as well. At the same time, the rear backlight has got a 3D curve. There is another good news for the fans of Mercedes. The company has today confirmed that it will also launch the EQS 580 in India next month.
