Mahindra Thar Rocks made a Record
Mahindra & Mahindra’s brand new Thar Rocks has become the first body-on-frame SUV to get a 5 star safety rating in Bharat NCAP. Along with this, it has become the IC engine vehicle to score the highest points in the crash test. Thar Rocks got a total of 31.09 points out of 32 in the Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) category of the crash test, while it got 45 points out of 49 in Child Occupant Protection (COP). On this basis, Mahindra Thar Rocks got a 5-star safety rating in Bharat-NCAP. The current ex-showroom price of Thar Rocks ranges from Rs 12.99 lakh to Rs 22.49 lakh.
Mahindra’s Cheapest SUV Also Gets 5-star Safety Rating
The cheapest sub-4 meter compact SUV XUV 3X of the domestic company Mahindra & Mahindra has also got a 5-star safety rating in the Bharat New Car Assessment Program. After the crash test, Mahindra XUV 3XO scored a total of 29.36 points out of 32 in adult occupant protection and 43 points out of 49 in the child occupant protection category. After this, the overall safety rating was 5. The current ex-showroom price of Mahindra XUV3XO ranges from Rs 7.79 lakh to Rs 15.49 lakh.
