Mahindra Scorpio-N was launched last month and now the current Scorpio is being offered with the classic tagline which will have better looks and features as well as fuel efficiency. Also Mahindra’s new logo. The company claims that the mileage of the new Mahindra Scorpio will be 14 percent more than its old model. Also, it will make people crazy with its new avatar.
7 and 9 Seater Configuration
Recently, Mahindra & Mahindra launched its new Scorpio-N, which managed to make a place in the hearts of people due to its great look, latest features, and new powerful engine. Now the company is going to introduce the old model of Scorpio as Scorpio Classic, which will have two trims like S and S11, and will be launched with a 7-9 seating capacity. Its price will be revealed on August 20. Let us tell you that Mahindra Scorpio-N has been introduced in India in a total of 25 variants of trim levels like Z2, Z4, Z6, and Z8, with prices ranging from Rs 11.99 lakh to Rs 23.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Scorpio-N is available in the 6-7 seater option. The starting price of Scorpio Classic can be more than Rs 10 lakh.
Powerful and Feature Loaded SUV
Talking about the look-features and engine power of the new Scorpio Classic SUV, it will get to see a new 2.2-liter second generation mHawk turbo diesel engine, which will generate 132 bhp power and 300 Nm torque. A 6-speed manual gearbox will be seen in this SUV. The company claims that the mileage of the Scorpio Classic will be 14 percent more than the old model. The company has made total mechanical changes in the Scorpio Classic so that now people will feel comfortable in handling and driving. On the other hand, talking about the features, many special things will be seen in it including a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, leatherette finish, black and beige interior themes, rear parking sensors, cruise control, AC vents, and dual airbags.
SUV will have Better Control
The suspension setup has also been slightly upgraded. Mahindra has added MTV-CL (MTV-CL) dampers to all four struts. This should help control the body of the SUV. Along with this the suspension has been re-tuned. The manufacturer has also worked on the steering system to make it easier to handle and carry.
SUV Color Option
The new 2022 Mahindra will offer the Scorpio Classic in five exterior color options. It includes colors like Red Rays, Napoli Back, Dsat Silver, Pearl White, and Galaxy Grey.
