KTM has launched a new model of its cheapest sports bike KTM 125 Duke. It costs 1.5 lakh rupees. However, the updated model is 8 thousand rupees more than the old one. The updated model has new bodywork. It will also get new suspension. This model is inspired by the company’s flagship bike KTM 1290 Super Duke R.

Seat Height Increased

Keeping in mind the convenience of the rider, the company has increased the weight of this bike, while the company has increased the weight of this bike by 7 kg, and its seat height has been increased from 818 mm to 822 mm.

 

Bike Engine

No changes have been made to the engine of the KTM 125 Duke. That is, the bike will get a 125cc, single-cylinder engine, which generates power of 14.3 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 12 Nm torque at 8,000 rpm. The engine is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox.

Other Features of the Bike

  • The KTM 125 Duke bike gets a new bolt-on rear subframe, larger steel fuel tank and new WP suspension. The capacity of the new fuel tank has increased to 13.5 liters. The updated bike is offered in electronic orange and ceramic white color options. The new bodywork on the bike exposes the steel trellis frame chassis.
  • Changes have also been made to the bike’s rider and passenger seats. Its styling is similar to other bikes in the Duke range, including the KTM 200 Duke, KTM 250 Duke and KTM 390 Duke. The bike will get a much better riding position.
  • There has also been no change in the braking system of the bike. It gets disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear. The bike is equipped with single channel ABS (anti-lock braking system).

  • The weight of the updated model has also increased by 7 kg, after which the bike’s Vanaj has increased to over 159kg. The seat height of the bike has increased from 818 mm to 822 mm.
  • The KTM 125 Duke does not have a direct rival in the Indian market, but may be from the Honda Hornet 2.0, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and Yamaha MT-15.
