Kawasaki has launched the BS6 version of its middleweight cruiser ‘Vulcan S’ with an ex-showroom price of Rs 5.79 lakh. Due to the upgrade to BS6, it has already become more expensive by Rs 35,000. It will be the only metallic flat raw available in graystone color. However, there will be no significant change in the engine or features of the 2020 Vulcan S compared to the older model. Customers can get booking information on the new Vulcan S’s IKM authorized dealership or on Kawasaki India website.

Kawasaki is also offering a separate seat option in this bike. Parts of this bike have also been kept as before. At the front of the bike, there is a single 300 mm disc brake with dual piston while the rear wheel has 250 mm disc with single piston.

The Vulcan S is Kawasaki’s first and only cruiser motorcycle in the country and is equipped with a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke parallel twin 649 cc motor, generating 61 PS of power at 7500 rpm and 62.4 Nm of torque at 6600 rpm. However, there will be no change in the power of the new Vulcan but its torque output will be minor, which does not affect its performance.

Rider will be Able to Adjust Seat and Handle

The Kawasaki Vulcan S is a sporty cruiser, with a low slung profile, alloy wheels and off-set mono-shock. The motorcycle has an Ergo-Fit feature, allowing the rider to adjust the handle, footpegs and seat for optimal riding positions. Kawasaki has stated that the Vulcan S will be suitable for all riders, including the Biggers as well as women riders. For braking, it gets 300 mm disc at the front and 250 mm disc brakes at the rear. ABS is available in the bike as standard.
