BS6 Hyundai Verna Launch: Hyundai has launched the Verna BS6 model of its popular sedan. Its base variant is priced at Rs 9.31 lakh while the top variant is priced at Rs 15.10 lakh. It will get three engine options, including two petrol and one diesel engine. Apart from mechanical and feature updates, the car will get 8 such features which will be seen in the segment for the first time.

How Much Power is in The Engine
- The car has a 1.5 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, which will get 114 horsepower power and 144 Nm of torque. It will also get 6 speed manual transmission standard and CVT option.
- The 1.0-liter turbo unit will get 119 horsepower and 172 Nm of torque. It will get a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
- The 1.5-liter diesel engine will get a 6-speed manual transmission. It will get 114 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. Apart from this, it will also get a torque converter automatic setup.
What to Get for Safety
- The car will get ABS, ry parking sensor, seat belt reminder, two airbags for front passengers as standard safety features.
