BMW G 310 RR: BMW launched its latest sportbike on Friday. Its name is G 310 RR. Its starting price is 2 lakh 85 thousand rupees. It looks similar to the S 1000 RR sportbike. The sportbike is available at BMW Motorrad India stores across the country. Its special thing is that it has been made in Hosur, Tamil Nadu in India.

BMW and TVS came together to make this bike. The BMW G 310 RR bike is an upgraded version of the TVS Apache RR 310. Earlier, BMW and TVS have also made BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS sport bikes in Hosur, Tamil Nadu.
Design of BMW G 310 RR
The BMW G 310 RR retains the split headlamp set-up at the front with the same design as the fairing. The bull horn-style LEDs in the tail-lamps at the rear are also a direct carryover from the Apache 310. It also gets a vertical 5-inch TFT instrument console that comes with a new operating system and technology like Bluetooth connectivity. It sports Bi-LED twin projector headlights, which are borrowed from its TVS siblings like the taillight, mirrors, golden USD forks, and windscreen.
Features of BMW G 310 RR
The BMW G 310 RR will be powered by the same 313 cc, single-cylinder engine that has been borrowed from the 310 families. The motor makes 34 bhp at 9,700 rpm and 27 Nm of peak torque at 7,700 rpm, and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. It is also equipped with ride modes and dual channel ABS. The biggest difference from the TVS lies in the paint and color options offered on the BMW as well as the graphics on the TFT display. This bike is a rebadged version of TVS Apache RR310 but with some key differences the prices of TVs start from Rs 2.65 lakh but the bike is available with multiple options which can increase the price up to Rs 2.87 lakh.
0 to 60 km/h in 2.9 Seconds
The BMW G 310 RR is powered by a very high-tech engine. The bike has a 313 cc water-cooled engine, single-cylinder four-stroke engine. Also, it gets an electronic fuel injection system. This bike can reach a speed of 0 to 60 kmph in just 2.9 seconds. The maximum power of this bike can go up to 25 kW at 9700 rpm.
Two Color Options will be Available
BMW has launched this bike in 2 color options. One option is the standard Black Storm color, which gives it a dynamic look. The second option is Style Sport, which has Light White Uni, Racing Blue Metallic and Racing Red Uni colors.
